Kraettli Lawrence Epperson is an active entrepreneur, technologist and investor. As an entrepreneur he has launched several successful technology companies including Questia Media, R7 Solutions and HyperAlert. Questia Media is the world’s largest digital academic library, containing more than 75,000 books and 9 million journal articles. Kraettli co-founded Questia Media in 1998 and the company is now owned by Cengage Learning. He subsequently co-founded and funded R7 Solutions, which provides software-as-a-service mapping and workflow solutions for oil and gas exploration, and pipeline and rail right-of-way. Houston METRO’s light rail expansion is managed inside the company’s flagship product, GeoIntelis. He also co-founded, funded and contributed patents to HyperAlert, a leading provider of interactive voice response crisis communications systems. As an investor, Kraettli has served on the board of the Houston Angel Network and is a co-founder of VentureSpur, a seed fund and venture accelerator with offices in Dallas and Oklahoma City.
